Managing SPAM and Non-Deliverable messages#12

S

When sending messages via SMTP, RoboContact has no visibility of the returning emails so Non-Delivered messages due to mailbox full, DNS (not found) and suspected SPAM filtering (blocked) are going to be sent however many messages are in your campaign sequence.
This could quickly add up to 1000’s of bouncebacks and will affect your “rating” on any mail gateway.
We need a way of managing removal of bouncebacks from our contact list (unsubscribe). No sure how you might do this but adding a connected mailbox to robocontact or maybe logging into a webmail portal might be possible.
If robocontact can get visibility of the messages coming back, it can then unsubscribe the problem emails from the contacts list and reduce future messages being sent we know can’t be delivered.

At the moment, this is a manual process which is extremely time consuming and laborious and is a massive reason why I may not use robocontact much longer, at least until this is addressed.

Just use the hunter integration to only send to verified email addresses.

Hunter is expensive. I’m just looking now and it’s €399/month for 50,000 emails.

Adds to costs considerably
